Not sure we write about the same restaurant but Fleur de Sel in Marseille is an excellent address to eat i wonder why it is not ranked higher are there so many top restaurants in Marseille ? This one is truy outstanding...good and every time we are in Marseille we go and have lunch there if we lucky we get a place b.t.w. Once you have eaten your good lunch you MUST try some of their desserts they are just mouthwatering and really really good not guess what, i could not decide which one to take so the waiter got me a personal and specially off the record plat de degoustation with little pieces instead of ONE only big piece. Plus: Good atmosphere in customers. Affordable price. Clean toilets. Less: Cacio e pepe No salty paste and a little too cooked with not enough sauce. Without sausage this dish will be immangeable. Service we barely had the slate when a second server comes to remove it from us because “it’s the only one in the restaurant and there’s a table of five that need it.” Maybe just an isolated case? Maybe not bad for lunch if you work next door, but it's not worth coming on purpose.
we visited almost 2 years ago fleur de sel. I was blown away by charm, eating and personal. I have myself in the possession of restaurants and realized how the front of the house is so important. in front of the house is max and vater bob and in. the kitchen is the beautiful chef silvie. this is a family-run restaurant that is always only packed with lunch service. how wonderful that max remembered soraya and I from 2 years ago! rustic French cuisine best. Thank you.

We chose salt flower for our wedding and everything was perfect We enjoyed cocktails with desserts Our guests are still talking to us a month later! Suck! And an impeccable service! All the staff has been at the top!
