Went to the Flight Deck on Saturday for a late lunch. We were asked to take a seat from a man behind the bar and he would be with us in a minute, so we sat at the windows watching the planes. There was one other table of 5 people there so it was far from busy. We waited for 15 min for the man behind the bar or one of the other staff members to bring us a menu or even come over to our table, they didn't. I hope the food is worth the wait if you want to wait that long. We got up and left. Really disappointed as it "was" a great place to sit and watch the planes while having a nice meal or a drink when the previous owners were there.
Fantastic setting & lovely staff, but the food was very disappointing to say the least. We ordered the tasting share platter for 2 (I was a little sus when they wouldnt tell us what was actually on it before we ordered). We got 1 arancini, 1 bruschetta (grilled cheese on toast with slab of tomato), 1 lamb croquette and 2 piles of cured ham with grissini sticks – all to share. And all of this for $28.00. Needless to say I called into McDonalds on the way home for a better meal. Very disappointed as I had heard good things about this place.
Found this place for coffee one afternoon and decided to try the restaurant in the evening. The service and food were superb. The wife picked for the menu, which had a great selection, and I ordered ribs from the "specials" what an excellent choice. Amazing. When I come back to Melbourne this will be my place to eat.
This place has the potential to be awesome. The kids love being so close to the plains and had a ball, it was a shame about the food though. We were in a group of 4 people so we decided to all share a selection of dishes. None were very good quality unfortunately. Fix the food and you are onto a winner!

I had my 60th party last Saturday here and it was awesome, the room set up looked fabulous, finger food great and the staff was amazing. The outside set up was used a lot seeing it was a pleasant weather. A party l will never forget because of the Flight Deck.
Great pub style food tucked away on Moorabbin Airport! Always really busy on a Friday or Saturday night making for a fantastic atmosphere, overlooking the airport as well. Definitely recommend!
Convivial atmosphere for lunch. Great steak sandwich and interesting watching the arriving and departing aircraft. Would be lovely outside on a warm day with a chilled glass or white wine
If only they put as much effort into the quality of food and venue as they do their social media photography. Venue is cool because of the location. Food and venue were a disappointment.

Kids had a great time watching the planes and helicopters, hours of free babysitting!! Staff are amazing, very friendly and accomodating. Food was good, burger and kids meals were nice.
Quite a lovely setting of sorts. Wife and I had the gnocchi, which was light and quite lovely. I would recommend this as a good place for informal casual dining.
