I grew up right around the corner from flips!!!! I since moved to TX and one of the biggest things I've missed is Flips!! Every time I come back to visit it's one of my first stops!!!

this place was the standard when growing up. the hot bark was terrible, like the gyros of my life. the thinning area was coarsely dirty. none of the tables.

Cheap, delicious, and enjoyable are words I would use to describe Flips My brother and I got 4 hotdogs and a gyro for just over 20 bones.

They have the best gyro ever.....I go there ever chance I get when I'm out in Glen ellyn.....they put so much meat on the pita bread..

Classic. The gold standard for gyros. Not a bad thing on the menu. Spicy chicken sub is awesome too.
