Off the A36 Motorway to Madrid. If you’re looking for the authentic Spanish buzz, pull off the motorway in the direction of La Roda and there is a Cepsa petrol station on the left and this hotel/restaurante is on the right. We were here at 10.30am on a Friday morning and the café was alive inside and out. The interior has bull memorabilia with two large bull heads on the cafeteria walls which is brimming with atmosphere. We had two toasts with tomato and Serrano ham and two coffees. The bill was €5. The loos are very modern and spotless. This is the perfect situation to stay (the hotel looked as interesting as the café to explore the numerous castles of this area. – Novelda, Villena and Sax...
Uno de los clásicos de la ruta cuando no había autovía para ir de Madrid a Alicante y había que atravesar La Roda. Gran variedad de carnes, pescados, raciones, y bocadillos en la carta. Buenas raciones, a destacar el queso frito y la ensaladilla. La tortilla de patata floja. Servicio correcto y precio moderado. Recomendable.
Café side of a business that has an hotel a smarter restaurant attached, so the shared loos are very spiffy! Bit slow to get served but food was nice quality very reasonably priced. Worth stopping off for if you want decent quality at a reasonable price and in an informal atmosphere.
Espectacular, menú del día, si vas de camino a Alicante o a Valencia puedes parar en este sitio, muchos primeros y muchos segundos a elegir, los postres espectaculares y en la puerta tienes también parking privado, sin duda muy recomendable por 14€

Very good road restaurant. Returning to Madrid from Còrdoba, we stopped to have lunch at this road restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. The place was clean,the service was good and the food was delicious.
I had no great expectations but dinner isn't served in the restaurant, only the bar in the evening. Asparagus wasn't the fresh variety. The main meal lacked flavour. This is just fast food.
