As a resident of El Monte, I can't believe I hadn't found this place sooner! The service is wonderful and very family-friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere. If you're a regular, the staff will remember you and engage in friendly conversation about your life. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a fantastic value. It's definitely one of the best breakfast spots in El Monte. If you're searching for a charming mom-and-pop restaurant in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
We stumbled upon this coffee shop while we were around the El Monte area one morning. Seating was quick and food arrived promptly. Food was good and service was acceptable. We ordered the French toast combo and Chorizo burrito with one coffee and my date went with water. The bill came really fast and we paid promptly with our credit card. The charged amount amount was higher than the check presented. I hope they don’t do this to every restaurant patrons.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional, contributing to a positive dining experience. The indoor atmosphere felt welcoming with that classic mom-and-pop vibe, and the seating was spacious. While there isn’t any outdoor seating, the prices are reasonable and competitive, and there’s plenty of parking available. Overall, I highly recommend Flo's and I look forward to returning!
It's not the best spot for breakfast in El Monte, but it's certainly not the worst either. The menu features typical breakfast fare suitable for a weekend morning. I highly recommend the menudo! They make fresh tortillas every day. The French toast breakfast is also a great option. They tend to close early and get quite busy, so it's best to go early.
I was in the area and decided to try a new diner. As soon as I walked in someone smiled and gave us a seat. Food was great. Nice and local everyone knows each other. Love it.
This is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been in! The food is great, portions are big and the hospitality is magnificent! Will be coming back again!
