I love this restaurant. It's consistently got good food, good service and a good atmosphere. The beer choice is excellent too. This place is also versatile; equally appropriate for a family meal, group outing, romantic date, solo meal or drink at the bar. In warm weather the outdoor space is nice and pleasant. In cold weather the indoor space is cozy. I look forward to, maybe, a few more vegetarian options someday maybe, but other than that, I think the place is really great.
I’m a local and have dining here for years. I had the pleasure of having Ashley as a waitress not long ago while me and my boyfriend were dining. She was extremely sweet and professional and recommended different menu items based on our conversation that we both extremely enjoyed. Our drinks were great as well! It’s really refreshing to have such a humble and pleasant waitress that was happy to help on top of a great dinner experience!!
Truly enjoyed my meal at Flossmoor Station. The food was excellent and I enjoyed my beers as well. The restaurant itself is in a repurposed train station. The vintage aspects of the space were preserved. The service was fantastic and the staff was very accommodating. We ate with 3 children under the age of 6 and all were pleased. I would definitely go back!
Stop there on the way home from Chicago. Whole family loves it. Son loved the train above the bar and the ice cream trolley. Forgot to post this… was in draft for years. New update.... they are NOT 2A friendly so I don't go as often. Big sign on the doors. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My husband and I love the food. The staff is very nice as are all the servers. We love the server Matt who has a great attitude and makes our dining experience even better!
my review would have been 5 stars had the service matched the food. felt like a afterthought to the bartender.. also seemed to be out of every beer that I wanted.
Its form was gentle, and the elements so mixed that all the world might stand and say, “This was a chicken pot pie.”
