Well. The service on the front desk for seating is negative, they don 't deserve even half star.The restaurant were almost empty only two tables were occupied), asked us to wait for the table to be ready which we did wait for about 30mins, they stated they called me but we were there right in front of the restaurant and in fact they did not call me I showed them my phone indicating they did not call).. they said 'oh ' when I showed them my call list...What can I say ? I definitely felt discriminated in front of my children... maybe because we are Asian).. so sad and frustrated .With some reason, Google information just showed no waiting as below.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fried oysters, fried fish, and fried shrimp in the FISHERMAN'S PLATTER. It didn't taste like it was sitting in a freezer and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were not just pulled out of a giant tub from a restaurant supply store. You can taste the quality. I asked and both were made in house. Even the coleslaw was yummy with toasted almonds and raisins! The crab cakes were perfect, no filler nonsense to make them look larger- crab meat all day! The staff was also very professional and friendly!
Difficult review to write. Main problem is the scallops aren't real scallops. They offer grilled scallop with bacon but they aren't real scallops. I asked the waiter named Dave if they were real and he paused, then said yes. I thought he was going to tell me the truth when he paused but he lied. My wife liked the food but I didn't. Their version of chowder is red, similar to Boston clam chowder, but it actually tastes more like a cioppino. Raw oysters were fine, but not excellent.
They make the best cioppino. We usually sit at the bar where we can watch the talented chefs make it. Fly n' Fish uses very fresh seafood, and you can taste the difference. The Caesar salad is fresh and delicious. I also like the fish and chips. I just wish they used thicker cut chips and not fries. The parking can sometimes be challenging. Overall, it is one of my favorite places. Great food, wonderful staff, and relaxed atmosphere.

I was on my way back to the airport in Long Beach and decided to take the PCH. I randomly googled and this came up as one of the top places. Oysters were fresh and amazing the bartender took good care of me. Fish tacos were very good.
Excellent service! Delicious Cioppino! ? Worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Beautiful view of the beach and sunset. Luckily there was a cancellation and we didn't have to wait. A little expensive but it was a treat.?
Doesn’t allow ADA service animals. Documents were provided after service was declined. We are local residents. Very disappointing! Not all disabilities are physical. Shame on you. Poor management.
Place is nice but it was on a Friday night, packed with people, only eating at the bar (very uncomfortable). Had linguine with clams (4 clams in total) quite shabby in taste. Service: so, so....

Great atmosphere. Bartender Victor was very personable. Best Lemon Drop ever. Crab cakes crusted halibut were amazing. Fries were sick too.
The food was well-cooked, but unfortunately, it lacked seasoning and was extremely bland.
