Nostalgic little café in the woods. I like the idea behind this place. Natural, organic, ?REAL FOOD? from scratch. It?s a GREAT objective, but food needs to taste great as well. I?m always a matcha girl, but I didn?t like the matcha here. It tasted morewatery, rather than creamy. And it had a spicy note of flavor to it, like a spiced chai, but with a lot more kick. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner when they are open for pizza! The menu was great with kid friendly options, vegan, and gluten free. This would be a go to place if I lived closer. The staff was friendly and remembered who their customers wereeven new ones ????

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Talkeetna. Staff was very friendly and COVID conscious. Everything was very fresh and homemade, we all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend as a quick stop going to or from Anchorage, not far off the highway!
The bread was amazing. Unfortunately, our quest was to purchase their Country Sourdough, but it wasn't being made today. When on vacation, you just have to roll the dice ... !!! Bread reasonably priced as well.
Fantastic homemade bakery items. The best Jarlsberg and ham croissant I've ever had. Great atmosphere. We just simply had to take a couple of bakery goodies for the trip back to anchorage. Oh so good!

Great pizza! The wood fired pizza was fantastic. We had the sloppy joe ! Definitely stop here if you're in town. Also a lovely collection of teas, coffee, and fresh bakery items.
