I'm quite disappointed with my experiences at Fogo. Each time we visit, the service seems to be lacking. We sat there for a good 15 minutes without any water at our table while eating our meal. When our water was finally brought out, it was only refilled once, leaving us without water for most of the dinner. Additionally, the cheese and honey server dropped honey on the floor, splattering it all over my spouse's leg, and he didn't even apologize. Throughout the entire evening, we received very little steak at our table. We noticed that we were served bacon-wrapped pork and chicken only about five times, which is really not what we expect when dining at a Brazilian steakhouse.
The food was good as always, although the last time we came it was better. However, I'm not making this review because of the food. Our hostess, Sam, was a delight to say the least. She was so kind and even joked with our table in a friendly, sassy manner (something we obviously started/reciprocated because of her fantastic vibe). I'd come back next week just to see her again. She was efficient with orders, consistently gave us refills on drinks, and made sure we got the highest quality of service imaginable. Hopefully you guys keep her around and even promote her at some point because she deserves it!!!!
I had a lovely reunion dinner with my friends here. The food was great, but are experience was phenomenal because of our server Sam. Bubbly and on point, Sam made our dinner great! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and ask for server Sam.
