The El Segundo location is a very different vibe than the location on La Cienega. The dining room is very crowded. I mean packed. Like uncomfortably packed. When they employ outside dining, they leave the door open and it can get cold inside if you sit by the door. When the place is busy, maneuvering around the sides bar can be a challenge given the people and the children who don’t pay the most attention to surroundings. The food is okay. I did note the lack of premium cuts on rotation versus other locations and similar concepts. The chicken legs and sausage was much more frequent then the picanha or sirloin. Our experience was pretty disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation, and then preceded to wait for 35 minutes for our table to be ready. We were smack in the middle of the restaurant right next to the kitchen and buffet. There were multiple parties of >10 that were crowding the buffets and partying loudly right among the rest of our smaller parties. It took a long time to get our drinks and we had to ask for water refills several times. Our waitress talked so quietly it was impossible to hear her. The meat was good, but few and far between. I will not be returning!
This place is hit or miss. 1st time was excellent 2nd time the food was cold, slow coming out, lack of variety yet the service was great. 3rd time most recent) food was great, servers came by frequently great variety. However our waiter was mediocre. No plates or glassware on our table. Took forever to get water refills). Our cocktails came before water. Actually had the meat servers come to our table numerous times before we got plates or our sides. Slow to replenish the bread plantains. Had to remind or waiter 3 times waited over 20 minutes to get anything.
I just discovered that this location has recently opened, so we decided to give it a try for a birthday lunch. I've been to other Fogo de Chao locations in California, Las Vegas, and New Orleans, and I must say, the service here was outstanding! The food arrived quickly, and if there was anything we wanted that hadn’t been offered, all we had to do was ask, and they quickly brought it to us. The food was delicious and of top-notch quality. If you try the beef or pork ribs, definitely get the BBQ on the side—it's fantastic! I highly recommend this location.

Went for Fogo bar event , food was great but felt like it wasn’t a planned event and it was thrown together. Also they had us in a corner where the the employees were and I did not feel the vibe this time in there . Drinks were pretty good I wish they had more of a variety and wish they did not stop bringing out food, I had to tell my server can they bring us out more food but the servers bringing out the food that we’re going around did a great job . I would honestly just wish the overall experience was better and planned instead of how it came out .
Karen deserves each one of these stars!!! She was our server and was so personable, friendly and gave great recommendations. She knew the menu like she created it ????. Our cups were never empty and she really made our entire experience one we will neverforget! Oh yea, the food was AMAZING. We will definitely be back!
The food was not what I was expecting. I have been there before and it was so much better. The meat did not impress, the buffet was so so. The service was OK. Their vallet is terrible. They obligate you to leave your keys. They moved my car without the need, you must pay cash and the restaurant does not accommodate.
The service was excellent!! The food was very good, the salad bar is good, nice variety of selections to choose from. All of the servers were excellent especially Albert

I’ve been there twice in the last 6 months and my table is always significantly ignored for the meat to come to my table. Also their meats are way too salty.
