What a place! We had reservations for 8:15 but got there at 7:30 and asked if we could sit at the bar. They said sure, just for a drink or for dinner? We said just a drink and we'd keep our reservation. Well, it didn't take 5 minutes in the bar room and we wanted to eat at the bar. So we did. Phenomenal pianist, David the bartender and just great vibes in there. We saved our appetites and ordered half the menu! The calamari had the perfect texture and batter and thetenderloin tartare was perfectly oiled and seasoned. French onion and she crab soups were a win. Get the lamb chops! Just do it. We enjoyed the spinach casserole and creole corn. I'd say the jalapeño mac was the weakest link, but...
My experience was nothing short of spectacular. The bartender prepared my cocktail perfectly. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and her suggestions were appropriate for my palate. My steak was delicious. The sides are big enough to share among several guests. The key lime pie topped off my meal. Reservations are definitely needed unless you don't mind being at the bar. You should add Folk's Folly on your go to list. They will not disappoint.
Came here to celebrate my birthday with my close friends and was treated like royalty! We had a private room which was wonderful for us. It was like a small party. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong! Our server was excellent! He took really good care of us. We were still there when they closed and they didn't try to rush us. They let us enjoy ourselves. ????
Great menu variety and excellent food. Wait staff and management Very attentive and friendly. One area for improvement is the list of daily specials were delivered vocally without prices. Iâm sure prices would have been given if asked, but it is nicer if you donât have to ask. A printed specials list with prices would be great.

Wouldn't dream of going to a steak house and not ordering a steak, so I had the ribeye. The cut was phenomenal! Tender, juicy, flavorful! I had it with a side of potatoes which were well seasoned. The service was okay. I'd likely return when in town again, on a rare occasion when I'm craving red-meat.
As a fellow restaurant professional, I appreciate great service and delicious food; this restaurant hit all the marks. The food was delicious. The service was prompt, friendly, engaging and sincere. I cannot overstate how well they executed. Worth every penny. Great job!!
we loved to celebrate our 1 year high-time day at folks folly memphis. wonderful staff with excellent manage and knowledge of the menu. we had complementary gold balloons that decorate our chairs to celebrate our jubilee, along with a cupcake and candle.
