I was highly impressed with the restaurant. We arrived in the middle of a very rainy afternoon. As we got out of the car, we were welcomed by the manager of the restaurant and one member of the staff who escorted us from the car to the restaurant with umbrellas. The restaurant was developed in a renovated coffee farm house, it is nicely decorated with long halls to walk and comfortable chairs to seat and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The food was amazing, I had one of the three vegetarian options (grilled vegetables). All the dishes were well presented and delicious. Salento is off the beaten track and this restaurant is even more remote in the countryside. You cannot find more cordial servers, nor a more pleasant environment. I had sea bass in a sauce that was very good. Those who had the sea bass plain were even more pleased with theirs. The Coffee Zone is a nice diversion, away from hordes of tourists, and if you find yourself near Salento, I encourage you to discover this restaurant!
Located between the random restaurants on the top and the ones in the village this newly opened place is totally worth a visit. The design is refreshingly modern and nice compared to the other places. And so is the food! Very fresh, tasty and on top beautifully arranged.
