Great place for coffee and more. Fonks offers a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks, hot or iced. They have several varieties of milk for those who don 't do dairy. They also have baked goodies that are great. Their sandwiches are tasty and have some unique flavors to them. I love the turkey with pesto on a crescent... and just about every other sandwich! They also have some wonderful side salads and soups. All in all Fonks is a great place to go whether you 're just having breakfast, a coffee break or a filling lunch. Everything can be taken to go too.
Love this place! Great little coffee and lunch place to stop. The story behind the name is nostalgic. It comes from a old 5 and dime store that used to bear the name and inhabit the same space or and least part of the space. The place has yummy pastries to enjoy with the delicious variety coffee, teas and other drinks. They have sandwiches, paninis and soups that are savory and delicious. Not to forget but the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
That was my favorite coffee shop ever and I miss it terrible. It was always so wonderful to go and know that you run in someone friendly and smell the amazing aroma! I miss the big windows and the fresh flowers on the tables and the unique and wonderful decor. And of course the wonderful food and coffee! I hope they will build up soon! I'll show up!
Great little coffee shop! Very cool atmosphere, I loved the brick wall and string lights. I got a white mocha with cream and an extra shot per the recommendation of the barista behind the counter sporting lovely turquoise earrings. It was very refreshing. Would recommend this place if not for the coffee for the friendly faces behind the counter.
