After trekking in La Garrotxa volcanos, being refused from lunch at Hostal Dels Olos, where you have to wait more an hour to be seated, we tried here. Both restaurants belongs to Cuina Volcanica a group of local fine restaurants. But unfortunately we were wrong....This place was full as well and we have to wait an hour too. But much nicer and greater place to wait, while having a drink and enjoying sun. Or you can just walk around the park and spring. The reason was the day, Easter Sunday, when locals are coming for lunch. Staff was very nice, but you have to first go to main building to ask for a table. Paela was great. El restaurante está ubicado en medio de un paraje idílico. Si hace buen día, la terraza es ideal para tomar el vermut previo o el café de después. Fuimos a hacer una celebración familiar y éramos 15 personas. Nos sentaron en la carpa, que está completamente equipada y estuvimos cómodos. Hicimos el menú de temporada. La comida nos pareció muy correcta y la mayoría de los platos eran buenos. El principal problema fue el saque. A pesar de tener reserva a las 14:30 y ser puntuales, no nos sirvieron el primer plato hasta las 15:30; una hora entera de espera no es aceptable en un restaurante de ese nivel. we went with people and ordered the super fair price menu: good value, enough choice and tasteful. the most important requirements were met. the only interesting point is the inner: very cold as the inner of a refrigerator. After they said that, they can really see that no cost has been saved to invest in quality. so it's personal taste. again we visited this restaurant (like most restaurants) not for the inner, but for eating and preferred for a fair price and they did very well on this!
we have eleven friends in la moixina. we sat in round table with ideal temperature ac. we had all dishes in the daily menu (for euro per person). this included two dishes wein brot water desert....We had a great experience with top food for an affordable price. for more moderate days there are tables outside.

we stopped at the end of our hike from santa feliu to lunch. what a tasty bite to get so authentic, delicious regional cuisine with excellent service in a beautiful environment. several options for the daily menu and an extension a la carte menu. a real one.

Un servicio muy esmerado y un trabajo de cocina digno de unos buenos profesionales. Vale la pena ir a degustar una buena comida en la Moixina.
