The service I experienced for a late lunch was terrible. No interest was shown by the person taking my order. She lazily pointed to where I should go to collect my meal. I waited for a while at that counter before raising my receipt to show a worker who appeared to be ignoring me--I was the only person waiting. He looked at it and walked away. After noticing that no-one was cooking anything after a few minutes, I asked again about my meal and was advised that it would happen soon.Food arrived eventually and was just placed on a tray by the cook who then turned and left--total time 15 minutes for Singapore noodles. Obviously these people are not answerable to anybody.
So why don't you join? The food is great and the members' prices are more than reasonable. The food is good quality and tasty. The service is relatively fast and it's only a few steps away from your favorite pokies. There are regular specials that are really good. This time it was baked ocean trout and peppered scotch filet. Yum yum.
The Food quarter at The Star Hotel is the best place to eat for informal dining. The monthly special is the best thing to watch. Heavily discounted already, plus a further discount if you're a Silver Star Club member. It's good value , quality food and the best you can get.
I eaten here a few times in the pass the steaks are pritty good and generous for 12 bucks service is good food about a 5/10 food here alot better then the brisbane star hotel if only they copy the food that good in sydney to brisbane and the gold coast.

Consuming food here is not a pleasant nor tasty event. Prepared ahead of time in quantity does not guarantee fresh tasting cuisine. While specials look inviting when advertised, be warned about oily, greasy food.
Great location for a breakfast or lunch member special Plenty of choices. Easy to reach by bus, ferry or light rail. Nice walk around Darling Harbour. Will visit again and recommend to family and friends
A group of friends from work come here regularly for the monthly specials as well as the coffee and cake deals for afternoon tea. It is a casual atmosphere but food is good and staff are friendly.
