I'm back on my last visit to the "forrellen ranch" where I said I didn't understand what had happened in the kitchen. We were served a cold plate that had to be made the day before, and probably stayed in a fridge, considering the cheese was hard, and the charchuterie without taste. My almond trout was dry, almonds not grilled and all without taste, but dip in fat! We were regularly in this restaurant during our previous holidays, but that was no longer what we expected. And yet, we were looking forward to going back. The boss and waitress are always so nice, but it's not enough.
we have been looking for a locality for lunch and have stayed at the forellenranch!!!The food (also suitable for vegetarian) was very guat, our desires are without if and but received and the price performance was perfect! the service very friendly! for children there are also various dishes! forellenranch is always a mandatory stop at passing through the pillersee area. it is a charming restaurant of logs with a terrace from which you can watch out, pike-perches and even sturgeons in the pond below. of course they also serve fresh fish apart from. a wide range of other objects including - jamie desserts. there is also a drink list to fit.

we were in the ranch twice this year. at the first time we ordered forelle in different variations. every teller was good. the second time we ordered the rippchen. they are prepared in the smoker and tasted sensational. rich dessert selection completes the gaumenschmaus. the service is attentive and fast.
four young people from meran (südtirol) just wanted to eat well, they were not disappointed, because not only was eating like a 5 star restaurant but also the owners warn very friendly and helpful.
As we were staying nearby we decided to check this out and were not disappointed. Good food, good service and friendly English speaking staff. So good we came back twice more within the week.
