We always try to visit the Seerestaurant Forellenstube when we are in the Lenzerheide region.Parking is often difficult, but if you walk then you are ok.This time, around Christmas, the lake was frozen and we could walk across.Due to the excellent location virtually in the middle of the lake at the end of a small dam the place is often crowded and it is often difficult to find a table.This time we had Gerstensuppe and a fantastic trout and enjoyed the sun.The place was really packed and unfortunately we had to wait quite some time for our waiter and food. This could be improved.However, we’ll be back.
We often come back to this nice restaurant. Even though it is on the expensive side, it is worth it as it generally delivers great food. We often go for the local game specialties served with spaetzli and red cabbage. Generous portions and some healthy choices for our son (spaetzli, steamed vegetables, trout). The veal roast with polenta is also quite nice.the location, on the lakeside, is great.
A long established restaurant, with a well deserved reputation. Not just fish - as the name suggests with very fresh trout, but also good other seasonal dishes, locally sourced. A friendly relaxed atmosphere, 'gemütlich' suitable to parents, but not unfriendly for children. Good food and matching local wines.
We stopped twice by this restaurant since it is very convenient when visiting the little lake nearby. Once we had ice creams: quite a good range of choices. The second time we had lunch: the fish was good and fresh and I would recommend it. Nice view and friendly staff

Wir hatten eine köstliche Forelle (Forellenstube) und eine Vorspeise, aber die Rechnung am Ende war ein Schock ... ziemlich teuer angesichts der Komplexität des Essens in Rechnung. auch für Schweizer Referenzpreise ...

Enjoyed the food, venison was fabulous, as well as the Spätzli and the red cabbage. Been here many times and find the friendly atmosphere as always.

Lovely restaurant on a beautiful lake. Good food, service was great, staff was warm and attentive. Had the trout which was prepared very well.
Excellent food with local specialties. Try soup of the day and venison and home made sausages. Excellent desserts. Friendly service.
