This is a fantastic community pub with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is hearty and abundant, exactly what you'd hope for from a quality local establishment. The Sunday roast is by far the best in the area. The cask beer is exceptionally well maintained, clearly indicating that the lines are cleaned weekly. The landlord is incredibly down-to-earth and welcoming, just like the staff. The pub is family and dog-friendly, which enhances the vibe for us, though it may not be to everyone’s taste. While it’s a pub rather than a restaurant, we truly love the whole experience! Here’s to hoping it continues for a long time!
I had a delightful lunch with my aunt. The staff were excellent, and the food was freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. Price per person: £20-30. Ratings: Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3. Recommended dishes include the Fish and Chips, Pan Fried Chicken Supreme, and Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream. There is plenty of parking available.
I stopped by for a quick drink before exploring the city, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding, and the building itself is quite charming. Daryl, who was behind the bar, was exceptionally welcoming and courteous. They have a wide variety of drinks on offer. I will definitely return for another visit!
We dropped by for lunch today (no reservations) on a Saturday, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. I sampled their cocktail of the month, the Apple Toffee, and it was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the Tapas idea as well. I cannot give this place a good rating because I was completely dissatisfied. They didn’t ask how we wanted our food cooked, and my steak was overly rare, which ruined the entire mixed grill. I suggest that the waitstaff undergo retraining, or they risk losing customers.

Eating is delicious here, friendly helpful staff and very good value for money, white chocolate and celestial cake is amazing.
