Forma Pasta Factory

This restaurant never disappoints and is one of my favorite places for pasta in NYC! It's an affordable and casual spot for pasta in Greenpoint. The one thing to keep in mind is that you need to act fast to get a table - it's always busy and the space is small for the number of people dining. It's self-service, so don't forget to grab your own utensils and clean up after yourself. Place your order at the counter and they will bring your food to you when it's ready. And make sure to ask for the focaccia bread if it's not included with your meal! I haven't tried all the pasta dishes yet, but so far my favorite is the pappardelle bolognese (priced at $13). The food at Forma Pasta Factory on Bedford St. was fantastic. We tried the Monday special which was goat cheese and ricotta gnocchi with Sicilian tomato sauce and fresh burrata - it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly. Orders were taken at the register and then brought to your table on a tray with water glasses, silverware, napkins, and any additional beverages you ordered. The prices were reasonable, and the only downside was that we don't have anything like this in Bangor, Maine. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the city. one of the best pasta I ever had. especially the Saturday special with braised bark meat shoulder was simply amazing. all the aromen were perfectly balanced. the service is also really good and they have an open kitchen! the only complain I would have dessert with. I'd like it if it was served instead of picking up from the cooler.

Five star pasta…..exquisite tomato sauce and AMAZING service. We went here for a quick dinner and safe to say we were extremely pleased by the experience (dude who took our order even gave us a fist bump) and the food. If you want delicioso pasta under 20 dollars this is the place to be! Look out for daily specials!!

Actually, we were pretty surprised how good that was. it was also really great – not too expensive. great aromen. they also love the shortened menu so that I do not overwhelmed with options. the best was by far the bolognese, but we also enjoyed the artichoke thunfischsalat.
