We ate here quite early 7pm so the area we were sat (the cellar) took a while to build an atmosphere. By the time we left it was busy and getting busier. I think 8pm 8.30 would have been better. But that was our mistake. Anyway the food we had tapas and the service was excellent. We had foie gras with small pieces of toast so nice we had it twice! Toasted bread with tomato, potato gravas (quite spicy make sure you’ve got a drink to hand), cod croquets, cut slices of ham (delicious). Then strawberries to finish. All tasted great. Nicely presented and well served. We’ve eaten a number of times upstairs in the past so we chose the newly refurbished cellar this time. Next time we will book a bit...
