A wonderful tea salon that has been in business three years. It is the perfect spot to stop off at on a walk up to or back down from the Château Gaillard (or both you can’t miss it, an attractive old brick home. You enter...through the lovely garden, where you can sit at a table in nice weather with great views. However, you must go upstairs to order. The upstairs is worth a look anyway as it is very tastefully decorated with high ceilings. There was a painting expo when we were there. It was too warm out to drink hot tea so we ordered one of the special ice tea infusions that day, camomile and rose. While we were taking a Viking River Cruise to the area, all our meals were on board ship, but during free time one day, we were able to stroll around and found this old brick home which offers a wide selection of tea, beer, and...homemade pastries and cakes. It's really a nice place to rest while walking around Les Andelys. The bad news is is that it's only open Wednesday through Saturday, from but if you're in the area around that time frame, enjoy what they offer there, as well as the view overlooking the garden.

This is our trip to Les Andleys, and the time we visited. The owner recognised us and gave us and our children the biggest welcome. I had fallen in love with her brownies the visit before and this visit they didn't disappoint. The...service is always superb and the attention to detail is appreciated. Her English is fantastic, I couldn't recommend this place any highly. If you are in Normandy it's worth the drive or walk to get there.

We stopped there after reading all the good reviews. The lady was really nice and friendly. She does everything in this nice home which is her own. We sat outside in the garden and enjoyed our tea which home made pastries and cookies. In the garden and part of the proprietor's house, this is a charming tea salon with home made cakes and biscuits and a vast range of teas. You can sit in the garden or in the upstairs room looking out across the river valley. Quirky...decor and full of interesting furniture and art work this was a very welcome, calm place to stop for tea.

The Seine below, Richard the Lionhearted’s castle above, and in-between, a lovely tearoom. Everything perfect: the tea, the cakes, the view, the terrace, the interior, and the warm, quiet welcome.

A magical tea room nestled at the foot of a mediaeval castle in le petit Andelys the cakes were delicious and the hot chocolate was the best I've tasted a delicious treat! X

Wonderful place! Large selection of teas and house made treats. A must-stop before or after exploring the castle.
