Forgive the pictures. The pizza was so good we couldn't wait for pre meal photos!! We have been Fortunato customers since 2004. The pizza is delicious. Dough is made daily and you can taste the difference! No frozen pre-made stuff here. Only the finest quality mozzarella cheese coupled with fresh homemade sauce that is not yucky sweet or too acidic. Fortunato never cuts quality ingredients when prices go up. I must say in the 20 years that is true! Same great taste always. YUM!!! Pizza dough is cooked to perfection- crisp and brown on bottom, not burned! Staff is great. Wait time is spot on. Craving great pizza?? Call Fortunato! They have been a local favorite for 30 years!!
Fortunato Brothers was fantastic! We sampled both the thin and thick crust, and both were excellent. The thick crust was impressively substantial, and the dough was flavorful, avoiding the blandness of typical bread. The cheese was generous and incredibly tasty, and there was just the right amount of sauce. The pepperoni wasn’t overly spicy, although I wouldn’t have minded a bit more kick. I should mention that reheating the thick crust pizza works great in a toaster oven!
The food here is truly incredible. I had never visited this place before; I just stopped in because my usual restaurant was closed. Now, I’ve found my new go-to spot. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared, reminding me of how food used to be—and how it still should be. To top it off, even with such high quality, the food arrived at our table remarkably fast.
I frequently order their cheesesteak subs, but I find the charges for certain toppings quite excessive. For example, I was charged extra for pickles and only received three on my sub. Adding even more pickles would cost even more. Given that the price of pickles is one of the few things that hasn’t increased lately, I don’t understand this charge or the meager amount you get.

I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and it was incredible! The pizza was generously topped, arrived piping hot, and came quickly. Don't waste your money on other pizza places—order from here for the best pizza you’ve ever tasted. This place is truly a hidden gem. Treat yourself to some quality food today. Kudos for an outstanding product!
I really enjoy Fortunato's in Abingdon, but I've tried calling the Churchville Road location numerous times, and no one ever picks up. There are two different phone numbers listed on Google Maps and their website, and I've tried both of them.
Without a doubt, this is the best pizza in town! I've been enjoying Fortunato's pizza for about 30 years, ever since I was a kid. It still has the same fantastic taste, and they are definitely generous with their toppings.
The pizza here is consistently delicious. I've been visiting for years, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The restaurant is clean, and the portions are generous. It's always a great experience!

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and both ordered Stromboli. Even the smaller size was enormous! The young staff members were very friendly, attentive, and efficient.
