was in the opposite for the work of a day and after going all the morning was in need of something to eat and especially my daily coffee mix. had previously visited a neighboring coffee shop in the week, but had noticed the fountain cafe, and... although I would give this one away, because I didn't really want something funny. ordered a coffee, cheese salad roll and a millionaire shortcake, and was really good prices. really tasty eating and wouldn't come back here again if back in the opposite.
My wife and I with 2 friends popped in this morning on our walk and had tea, coffee and cakes, As we are on holiday in the area we didn't know what sort of experience we would have and I'm delighted to say that it...was excellent, the staff were charming and the coffee and cakes were lovely, the rest of the menu looks interesting and very affordable. All in all we had a very good experience.
we had breakfast in the fountain cafe with a few friends of my partner. we have all decided for the complete breakfast that came with a cup of tea or coffee. the portion size was exactly right, and the coffee was very nice. was the only object from the plate coming from the personalized. the service was fast and the staff courtesy. would recommend.
New management not as welcoming as the old but the food standards have stayed the same. Large portions cheap prices! Place shuts at 5 and I went in at 4.35 for take away and was told kitchen was closed. This is a very busy cafe. Came in for lunch and joined a queue to order. Wide and varied menu on the blckboard plus a menu. Enjoyed very tasty soup and a well filled sandwich. Great place for a quick lunch at a reasonable price...in a very friendly atmosphere.
fought with my wife and my children for lunch, it was fast, hot, decent and cheap. the staff can never do enough for them and is extremely polite at any time. also found that they have local deliveries to the other companies free of charge. top service!
Had the homemade Lentil soup which is one of the best I've tasted and had a Cheese and Bacon toastie which was delicious too! Hazelnut mocha was lovely as well, especially on such a rainy, cold day. Great prices!
