If you're looking for a good beer, this place has you covered; however, the food experience was quite disappointing. On a relatively quiet Monday night, we waited almost half an hour for our food. The Classic Grilled Cheese arrived with a miracle of kitchen technology, as the thin slice of American cheese managed to melt a bit, but the bread was barely grilled. Essentially, it was just a flimsy slice of cheese squeezed between two pieces of bread. The nachos were another letdown, topped with a strange, pale orange substance that resembled cheese but lacked any flavor or texture I’d recognize; both dishes took half an hour to come out. The interior was attractive and the ongoing slideshow interesting.The food at lunch was not so good. The four of us got nachos and poutine. Both were cool to cold. We also got burgers and fries and they were lukewarm. The guacamole was not fresh; it had started to turn brown. No excuse for serving that kind of stuff.They were not very busy either.Giving this place two stars is very generous and based solely on the interior decorations. The food itself would have been 1 star. We'll find another lunch spot next time.
This is a vibrant spot with a limited menu, but there are enough pub-style options to satisfy most tastes. However, the $13 charge for parking for two hours is a bit much. There are a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy the evening atmosphere. While there were a couple of musicians performing, inside we were treated to seven different covers of "Fast Car," none of which were by Tracy Chapman. When the music finally stopped and there was silence, it felt like a breath of fresh air.
The atmosphere was fun, great lively environment. The nachos we ordered were very bad I couldn’t imagine trying the other food, you can see the kitchen from your seat and the food didn’t look like it was handled with care. The drinks were good. They close their kitchen TWO HOURS before they close at 10:00pm…on a Saturday night! I paid $14 to park and then got to the counter at 8:03pm. Big disappointment but I now understand why there were so few people in the microbrewery on a Saturday night. So I went to the Irish Pub down the street that has great service and a kitchen that keeps reasonable hours.
I really enjoyed the drinks, and the atmosphere of the place is fantastic! However, I was let down by the food. While it wasn't the main reason for our visit, I expected it to be better given the prices. Despite this, I will definitely return and recommend it to others—hopefully, the food will improve as they continue to operate!
Great brewery! It’s similar to others in the area. You order at the counter and then find a table. There’s a wide selection of beers, along with some cocktails too! I had a lovely lunch.
