Ambience is fine. Waitress was nice enough. But the food and drinks were absolutely terrible!!!! My sister and I went tonight for our fathers one year anniversary of his passing. We are extreme foodies and go all over for a great meal. We have both been here a couple of times but not in over a couple of years. First, we got a wedge salad. Th bacon was old and chewy. But not the worst thing we ate. For our entrees, she got the blackened skillet sampler. It was so over salted that it was completely inedible. I got the lobster and shrimp scampi. We are from Rhode Island, our daughter is getting married in NH, so to make it easier on the families for travel reasons we choose Quincy to have her shower.I first want to say I worked with Barbara Ray, who was amazing at returning my emails, countless questions and easing my anxiety about this process! Fox and Hound are Blessed to have her! the quote came back as the best one for our needs. My friend and I had a nice dinner here last night. I had the baked haddock and she had a veal dish., I hate sitting at a tiny 2 top but didn’t say anything. Our server wasn’t very attentive. We had to have someone hunt her down so we could pay our bill as were having dinner before the comedy show. I have seen Steve Sweeney several times since the 80’s when he performed at the Ding Ho in Cambridge. He is a funny guy and always makes me laugh. The problem I have is the other “ comedians.” We sat there through three other acts and didn’t laugh once! They weren’t funny!! If I’m paying $33, I want to be entertained. Hate to be negative, but we won’t be returning. Ordered some drinks when we sat down, they were okay. Had a decent selection of cocktails, but were made all the same. Ordered a few appetizers, the last to come was the garlic bread it looked great, but upon cutting it open there was mold everywhere. I politely asked the waitress to take it back to the kitchen and we were going to go elsewhere for dinner and to let me know if I owed anything. Still was charged for the other apps, and drinks. All for paying for that we had but zero owner of manager came by to address the situation. $100 for some drinks and moldy bread. This used to be my family's go to for great food drinks and atmosphere....Today, my daughter ordered a chocolate milk which was spoiled. My Buffalo Chicken Sandwich looked like somebody ripped the bun apart with their hands and the overcooked chicken was terrible, as well as my daughter's chicken fingers. We will not be going back.
Huge disappointment on my last visit. $38 12 Oz Cowboy Ribeye was a garbage steak with very little flavor, poorly seasoned and absolutely NOT 12 oz. You advertise a Cowboy Steak you can 't deliver a 1/2 cm thick over-cooked POS.
I Googled looking for a place in Quincy to eat after attending a Red Sox game. We lucked out! Beautiful, old school atmosphere. Service was great. Menue offered some comfort food which was very good a a resonable price! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
