Foxy's Dining - Tisch resevieren

After living in the area for a little over a year, I decided to visit this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I ordered a New York Steak cooked medium, but it arrived looking pale and overdone, with no flavor. I opted for the salad that came with the meal, which consisted of a large portion of iceberg lettuce topped with a sliced hard-boiled egg covered in what seemed to be mayonnaise. The baked potato and fresh green beans were cooked well. The service was attentive, but overall, I was very disappointed with the food quality.

We were on the full American plan and opted for the special each night. The food was quite tasty, enormous portions, and always soup, salad, entree, and dessert. They don't do lunch, and I suspect breakfast is almost all lodge pre-paid guests.It is nice for a fishing lodge, as you can eat anytime from 6 to 9, has waitress service, a bar and very kind and considerate wait staff that are always smiling for you and always willing to help.

We had dinner here the evening before our departure to our flyin camp. It was prime rib night! It was going to be my last non-fish meal for several days and I needed beef fortunately the prime rib was high quality and cooked perfectly to order. The smoked fish and pickled herring appetizers were great! Give Foxy's a try, it is without question the best restaurant in the area.

At the seasonal Anderson's Lodge, this restaurant has good selection of mains and well-prepared food. Limited dessert choices, though (only one per night). They were able to accommodate my myriad of food intolerances safely. The ambiance is classic lodge - lots of stuffed animals on the walls. I would not recommend for a vegetarian. Friendly service. This year, the restaurant really impressed me with their menu. I am hopeful that they will maintain the same level of quality next year. I enjoy bringing out-of-town guests here, and arriving by plane at Slate Falls Air is the perfect way to experience it. The quirky decor, like the taxidermy fox winking at you, adds to the charm of dining here.

Wonderful restaurant at Anderson's Lodge, located just outside Sioux Lookout. The menu is unique to the Sioux Lookout area, and offers something higher end. Service was excellent and the atmosphere relaxing. The only disappointing aspect of this restaurant is, its not open all year round.

They have Great staff! they must have a good training program for staff as,their attention to detail is great. the lodge is in a beautiful setting. Be sure to take a walk down to the lake.We come here often and it is one of our favorites. It is only open during the summer months.

Good access by boat good solid docking facilities and gentle walk up the hill to the dinning room ten min drive from town by car.. easy parking.. very beautiful lake view dinning room.. out doors theme. food is good staff well trained and helpful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
