I’ve been to FRAMEbar a handful of times for special events and LOVED it. However, when my husband took me for a Mother’s Day brunch it fell flat. The host was less than thrilled that we had a baby with us and despite the restaurant being very empty almost the entire time we were there, we were sat in a pretty inconvenient location near the door to the patio. We felt like we were in the way of the servers going in and out the entire meal. My husband was excited to try the whole red snapper that was advertised for the special menu they had going, but when we ordered we were told it was going to be a breaded fillet instead. The whole staff was friendly helpful and welcoming. The pairings were light crisp refreshing palate cleansers. The menu itself having an Asian foundation with nods to American culture was nostalgic, innovative, and tasty! One of my favorite dishes was the Pickled deviled egg. I also appreciate their commitment to safety during this pandemic. All the seating was outdoors in a tent, the staff were masked, everyone had hand sanitizer at their tables, and there were dividers if different parties were sitting at the same table. I can't wait to come back to see what another Chef has to offer!
Went to FrameBar yesterday for the BirriaBar pop-up with chef Eddie Vargas. Food was excellent and a great value for the amount of food at the price point. I loved that the chef was making the rounds in the dining room to ensure every customer was satisfied. The birria platter and quesabirria were both great, as well as the salsas, queso, and aguacates. Lastly, the bar had good Mexican-inspired drink options, with the smoked Oaxacan old fashioned being my favorite for both taste and presentation. Great work all around.
My husband and I went there last night for an Albanian dinner prepared by Chef Camaj. The food was delicious, being Albanian myself I was surprised how much it tasted like moms home cooking, he nailed it! The wine pairings were perfect . I guess I read it wrong, but for $70 got a box of rice spice, no seafood included. I was so impressed with what I thought I was going to get that I tipped $20. I gotta say I feel pretty stupid.
My wife and I had a great experience at FRAMEbar last night Excellent food, great cocktails, and friendly service. This place has a great atmosphere with delicious meals to match.
I came during their birriaBAR residency and it was fantastic! Really awesome concept maybe one day I can chef it up in their kitchens! Looking forward to visiting in the future!
