Drove all around Languedoc and although there is so much potential with beautiful countryside, the buildings are generally not well maintained on the exterior, even Lagrasse which holds an award of being one of France's prettiest town was a wasted visit with nothing to write home about. The locals I found friendly enough but not well dressed in general. Shame but seemed poorer than it is! I love beautiful architecture and France really doesn't make the most of the stunning buildings they have, letting them get lost among the majority of plain and worn ones. at my many visits in limoux we often spend time in le commerce. it is a bar not a restaurant. we have always received a great greeting from the girls and their young employees and whether we sit outside in the summer sunshine drinking blanquette or having a beer in winter, it is a good place to go. when they enjoy rugby, they go here during the six nations, as the games are shown live.
A must-see place to enjoy a good blanquette with a smiling and professional service. Bosses in love with their business who have been living this beautiful place for 20 years, whose birthday was tonight. Thank you for always enjoying us so much. A good time to relax on this terrace... on a nice little place. The young waitress (with dimples) is very welcoming and friendly. Excellent service. We came back there at night! I recommend this establishment.
