I really love the tamales and pupusas at this restaurant! As a local, I’ve visited a few times and have always left feeling satisfied. I recently enjoyed three tamales, and they were excellent—freshly made every day. I also just had some pupusas, which were delicious, accompanied by tasty rice and beans on the side. I saw a one-star review saying the place is dirty and the food isn’t good, but I completely disagree. My experiences have been wonderful, and that negative review seems very inaccurate. Just a heads-up: it's cash only, and they don’t speak English here.
The tamales are outstanding and made fresh every day. The pupusas should be pre-ordered, but you can still get them if you're willing to wait. This is authentic Salvadoran food. There's no menu, but that's not an issue. It's helpful to speak Spanish if you have any questions. I give Francis Restaurant carryout a perfect 5 licks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was infested with cockroaches and mice, and the service was quite poor. While the staff appeared to be working hard, it didn’t make up for the overall unsanitary conditions and lackluster attendance.

The staff at Eln Lugar left much to be desired. I will never spend another dime there again. It's unfortunate for the owners, but my experience with the employees was the worst I've ever had at a restaurant.
I highly recommend this place for the best tamales! Made by talented Latin women, they're always delicious. I love buying them—usually 50 for $60—for my parties. They’re a hit every time!

The lengua, pork (revueltas) pupusa, and chicken tamales are the best in the area! Don't miss out on Francis—it's absolutely delicious. Food rating: 5/5.
