Меню среднее, выбор есть, но невелик. Для детей нет ничего – ни карандашиков, ни раскрасок, детского меню нет, но это уже мои придирки. А вот еда совершенно безвкусная, и это было полным разочарованием. Свежие лингвини с морепродуктами на вид были прекрасны, на вкус – полный ноль. Телятина с лимоном имела вкус только одного лимона, и ни разу не телятины. С таким же успехом это мог быть тофу. Что было на самом деле вкусно – это куриный суп. I am a former Bay Street trader - I have seen it all in terms of restaurants and my family has been/is involved in the food business. I rarely write reviews but I cannot believe how many reviewers complain about being rushed out... the food and wine quality is very high, and the service is very high which equals HIGH DEMAND. Why are reviewers so shocked then to see people waiting for their table? Yes, it is a smaller restaurant so expect it... Staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They do not hesitate to go the extra mile. Runs as a well oiled machine. Top pick.
I was impressed with this small restaurant located at the North End of the Avenue Road Strip. The decor is very upscale and the meals are reasonably priced for what you get, I tried the grilled calamari, served on a bed of lettuce with a light lemon vinaigrette. The veal picatta was superb, as was the truffle & mushroom risotto. Wine list is limited but you will find something you want. This is not gourmet, but great value and highly recommended. Expert service.
My wife and I recently stopped in at Francobollo for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised at what we found - a classy upscale Italian restaurant that didn't disappoint. The service was extremely professional and made us feel as if they were very interested in making sure we selected the right meal that would satisfy our appetite. I am celebrated my mother's day with my husband and daughter in the restaurant today. Their excellent and professional service would lead you to the right foods. I have Beet salad, Octopus and Grilled Fish Fillet. Very comfortable lunch and atmosphere.
