Frank Guido's Little Italy

My first experience at this restaurant was for takeout, and it was delicious. I even had to call the restaurant to let them know. I have worked in the restaurant industry for most of my life, in various roles such as management, cook, and kitchen manager. The phone order was taken by Terry or Theresa, who was extremely friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. We ordered the Family to-go deal #1, which included Penne a la Vodka, Caesar salad, and bread. We also added the meatball appetizer, calamari fritti, and bocconcini. I absolutely adore Frank Guido's. It's an authentic Italian restaurant, and as an Italian from The Bronx, I can vouch for its authenticity. The food is perfectly seasoned with traditional Italian spices. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm sitting in my mother's dining room with the whole extended family, enjoying the delicious cuisine that reminds me of my own mother's cooking. We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the server was fantastic. Despite it being very crowded, the service, food, and atmosphere were not affected in any way.

The prices in the family style menu were very affordable. The portion sizes were very generous, even for those of us who ordered individual entrees.
