I live too far away from Frank & Gus' Pizza ... I don't get there as much as I would like to or should. Although I have not too many pizzas that I did not like, I would have been hard pressed to say where the best pizza in the area was until I revisited Frank & Gus' after a several year absence. I ordered a small mushroom pizza from my downtown office and was told that it would be ready in 10 minutes ... My boyfriend and I are on a quest to find our favorite pizza in London. We are basing our choices from friends' recommendations. Friday was my birthday, so I requested we check another place off our "pizza to try list". We landed on Frank & Gus. Absolute BEST pizza in Canada, Hands Down! (Or at the very least London, Ontario, In my opinion). If you want to treat yourself to an AUTHENTIC, Impressively Majestic pizza, You MUST order any size - Sicilian thin crust style pizza, and select what you desire from their wide-range list of SUPERIORLY EXCELLENT Ingredients\Toppings. It is a tad more expensive than traditional chain pizza, but it unequivocally makes complete sense once you understand and acknowledge that the Two types of, irresistibly, REAL mozzarella cheese is the HIGHEST-quality you can get! They also take the time to blend the cheese them-self! They also make their sauce from scratch each day, and take like 5+ hours to cook!...
I was born and raised in London and Frank & Gus was and is the ONLY place for the best pizza hands down! I have travelled all over North America and this is still the best pizza on the continent. Even Chicago deep dish cannot compare to F & G. I now live in Brockville Ontario, and they are my first stop every trip to London. I don't think they deliver here - 6 hours is a bit much! This spot has some decent pizza, but definitely has a system in place where they know they are one of the latest places open, so they charge up the *ss if you want to get a pizza late.Give them a call late at night, and they'll flat out tell you are "far down the list" of their order priorities.... Good pizza. Order early in the day if you want the better part of their service.
We went for pizza, last night and had the Sicilian Deluxe. Its our favourite pizza in London. Its thin crispy crust is the best and the cheese is real and goes right to the edge. Its family run and the twins were working last night for their Dad, great service. It takes 30 minutes to cook, the way a real pizza should be.
We ordered from our hotel room. The gentleman on the phone was polite as they were extremely busy because of the concert that night. The pizza came earlier than we were told, and the pizza was delicious. We also ordered wings, not so good, stay with the pizza!

Tried these guys out on a whim a few days back. Went with tomato, onion, and red pepper. Darn good pizza. This will be my new go to pizza spot in London.
