I haven't been to a Frankie & Benny's in years, so my girlfriend and I decided to have dinner there tonight. I started with mozzarella sticks, which were good, and she had cheese bacon potato skins, which she enjoyed, so we were off to a good start. I ordered a margherita pizza and she ordered bolognese. However, the cheese on the pizza was hard, congealed, and plasticky (definitely not mozzarella), so I had to pick a lot of it off. The pasta in the bolognese was a strange brown color instead of a red tomato sauce, and my girlfriend thought it tasted odd (some of the pasta was also congealed). This is usually a place I would just walk past and not really go to as it has such a bad rep, but I am so glad i tried it for myself. Me and my boyfriend came here and for starters we had garlic bread, mozzarella sticks and chips with pulled pork all over. The mozzarella sticks were the best I have ever tasted, super crispy and cheesy as well as the loaded fries were 10/10. For mains we had the BBQ pizza which was unreal. I must also say the sweet potato fries were to die for. The server was so nice to us and really catering. Definitely will be back here, super fast service too
I took my family out for breakfast to celebrate my son's 15th birthday, but unfortunately the food was not as good as it used to be. To make matters worse, my son found a hair in his food. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I could have cooked a better meal at home for less money. This place is not as amazing as it once was.
The food at this restaurant was terrible. The chicken tenders were frozen and burnt, and the pasta was even worse - just some tomato sauce with a few chili peppers. They even served kiddie pasta shapes. This was the first time I've ever left a restaurant without tipping. I would give it a rating of 1 out of 5 stars.

Perfect family restaurant. Tasty affordable food and my kids favourite restaurant. Service is always amazing and also with a smile. You are made to feel welcome as you arrive until you leave. I would highly recommend visiting Frankie Bennys at the Glasgow Fort, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered the Classic Cheese burger. It was not home made, obviously cheap frozen type. It was bland and full of grease. Left me feeling queasy for rest of the day.
Great service and food at reasonable price. The server was pleasant, genuinely friendly and the food was gravest value for money.

Disgusting food, terrible service. Would’ve been better eating the money rather than give to them. Never coming back.
