As usual the food was very good but we had an incident where a bus boy spilled the buttered oil from the baked clams on myself and my brother-in-law. The bus boy offered to pay for our dry cleaning but disappeared after we got the bill. Which we felt the manager or waiter should have taken the clams off the bill or offered an after dinner drink but nothing! Disappointing at best since we have had dinner there on at least 5 occasions with large groups. Even though the offer to pay for the damage to our shirts the waiter never returned after we paid the bill to follow up on this payment!
I was a bit disappointed with the service and food. We shared the stuffed mushrooms, which were okay. The salad was brought with olives, and we requested no olives. The chicken Marsala was a bit overcooked, the flavor was okay. The chicken Alessio was okay. I expected the flavors of our dishes to be better. Nothing was outstanding. The server was nice but a bit too eager to clear plates before we finished.
We have visited this restaurant several times, and each time the cleanliness of the food has been disappointing. The dishes lack proper seasoning and need improvement. Additionally, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff seems eager to bring in new customers without ensuring that previous ones have been properly attended to. These issues are relatively easy to fix and should be addressed.
I always order the risotto, but this time it was quite bland, and I had to add salt to enhance the flavor. It also lacked the creamy texture I typically enjoy. My husband had the veal parmesan, and it was smaller than portions I've had at other local Italian restaurants. Similarly, my friend's eggplant parmesan was on the smaller side as well. The place was surprisingly quiet, which made conversation easy. The food is acceptable and the salad that accompanied my entree was both large and interesting.
The server was fantastic and went out of their way to accommodate us, even anticipating our special requests. They were very considerate.
It was ok it’s been better salad came out ok waited for an appetizer and it came out with the entree didn’t like that at all
