Frankie's at Forde is one of the better coffee, pub and food places in Gungahlin. On the Main Street in Forde, across from a school and parklands the cafe is well situated and is always abuzz with activity - families, couples, friends, catching up. The food is good - Australian cuisine. Although I wish they had more wholefoods (e.g. Acai bowls, salads, smashed avo, meals with more veggies)- they would have the clientele to become more health conscious in their food offerings. I would certainly go there more often if they offered this. However if you're after a very nice burger and some chips with a delicious beer on tap this is the place to come. Additionally, their coffee is pretty good.
Went to lunch with a friend at Frankie's at Forde with a friend ♀️ Originally I was disappointed they weren't serving breakfast (because hello, bacon) but the pizzas sounded good so we thought we would try those We got the Chicken Pesto which had super tasty smoked chicken Normally smoked chicken isn't my thang but on a pizza it is the bomb The Lamb and Fetta pizza was also exceptional They were both so good we couldn't decide which one we liked better! The crust was perfect - not too thick or too thin Maybe could have been a tad crispier, but everything about the pizzas was so good I almost don't care ♀️
Frankie's is our local and what is even better is that we can walk there!! Great food, service and atmosphere. Frankie's does not disappoint! They do breakfast, lunch and dinner, and if you are walking your pooch, drop in for a coffee or cocktail! (they won't judge), they also have great options for kids, and not your frozen stuff either! If they have it on the menu, try their deconstructed GayTime, OMG, so good.
Was quite disappointed. Found menu limited to mainly burgers and pizza. Got a toasted sandwich and beer battered chips. Some chips cooked and some under cooked and I left most of them but feel quite unwell now from the small amount I had. My daughter had a egg and bacon roll and bacon so over cooked it was more like jerky and the egg very over cooked and my daughter said it tasted strange .

From the moment I stepped into this place I was blown away. Staff immediately welcomed me, which never happens in canberra! The food is very good! But the best part is just the way you feel when at Frankies it really feel like home so relaxed and the staff are certainly a big part of that, you can see how much they love working there all joking around and singing.
Coffee here is great.We've had breakfast here and dinner with friends.Breakfast was good however food came out with large gaps so some were eating and while others still waiting for food.We had a variety of pizzas for dinner and they were OK too, a bit on the pricey side.Service was friendly too.We would go back again.

Took friends here for lunch . The staff were so obliging. Very happy for us to share a dish and even came on 2 plates . The staff were cheerful and happy to help however they could . Food delicious

Really enjoyed the American burger today at lunch, and the service is always friendly and quick. The consistently high quality of their food is very impressive.
