This place is hands down one of my favorite places in Burien. Not only is the atmosphere so cute, the people are welcoming and really friendly. My son loves the bolognese pasta and we’ve tried so many of the menu items from the braised brisket gnocchi (this alone is worth the trip! to the lamb shank, salmon, carbonara pasta, and a wonderful pasta special where the amazing chef put on quite the show!! Not to mention many other appetizers and entrees. Now when we come they know us and always come to greet us with a smile and even ask about my son when he’s not there. I have been here four or five times now, it’s always a good experience overall. Great drinks, some amazing food and awesome desserts. It doesn’t get boisterously loud inside either which I really appreciate. Only took one star off because their food is sometimes not always the same level of excellence. There’s usually one or two items per meal at my table that someone just doesn’t care for. The risotto specifically has been very hit or miss, sometimes way too salty or with way too much cheese in it. But if you know the menu well there are some star items that are always good. I like this place since the staff are so welcoming and polite. Unfortunately I have several disabilities and can’t have the majority of the things on the menu, so my options are severely limited. I’m hoping they’ll have more vegan options in the future. I asked one of the waiters if their pasta was made with eggs but they couldn’t guarantee it.
I am a Margherita pizza snob and expert and this is the best I have had locally ever! Love this restaurant!! Have been here twice now and the sign of an excellent cook is how well the scallops are cooked and these were the most perfectly cooked I have had in years! Get the risotto! An incredible place, to share with family or friends.. spectacular attention and incredible food!! If you want to have a different time and get out of the routine you have to come!! The chef is the owner. They make you feel at home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner after just picking this place based on its proximity to our airport hotel. Nice ambiance, helpful staff, delicious food.
Food was fantastic, definitely get an order of their bread basket as an appetizer. It's so good, heck everything has been delicious every time I've gone.
