We visited here last Friday as a party of 4, having visited many times before, but having heard mixed reviews recently. All four of us chose something different from the menu, lasagna, pizza, Prawns in garlic sauce, spaghetti bolognese, with sides of garlic bread and mixed salad. Frankly, no pun intended, even though I have never had anything other than good food there, what we were served this night was even better. We will have no hesitation in returning.
Myself and my wife came in tonight (Valentines Day 2023). We were greeted by Lauren who was our waitress for the evening. Very friendly, bubbly and attentive. We ordered the Antipasto to start with followed by the Allo Tartara pizza and lasagne. Absolutely delicious food, A* service and the atmosphere was lovely for evening dining. If your in Kettering and fancy pizza go to Franks Pizza
Loved the pizza and garlic breads. Bologna’s was very good. Only reason I didn’t give it 5, is because I know my wine, and although the wine supplied was lovely and to my taste, the bottle displayed the supermarket it was purchased from. If it was served in an iced jug, or a jug in a bowl of ice, then I wouldn’t know the mark up etc at cost. Otherwise.. food etc. Excellent.
Frank’s came up trumps for the annual LCDO championships. Having pre ordered for 15 hungry darts players, Franks delivered hot and fresh tasty pizzas for us to consume and enjoy. There was a mixture of different pizzas (I had the meat feast), along with the meatballs and garlic bread all of which was superb. Can’t recommend enough. Authentic Italian pizzas. A group of us came on a Friday evening and I had the pizza marguerita which was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, it’s authentic tasting! I recommend! The other dishes looked good and everyone loved theirs. It’s a simple place, the decor is not plush but then the prices are not high so that is balanced.
First visit with friends from work, food was excellent we had three pasta meals which were excellent quality , shared a large pizza as well service was also excellent, with a litre of house red wine could not fault anything
Great little hidden gem. Cash only . Proper old skool but great , very busy but squeeze us in . Would recommend. Pizzas were great and home made bases done in a clay oven .
Just had a takeaway from Frank's pizza, absolutely stuffed and satisfied delicious and plentiful, great value and quality, will definitely use for takeaway again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Visited on a Thursday night with my sons. Hadn’t been for a long time and the pizzas are still amazing proper homemade! A lovely evening with great service
