This was our first visit. We were warmly greeted. The service was excellent. Never had to ask for anything. I had the special salad with homegrown heirloom tomatoes and watermelon. The tomatoes were so fresh they didn 't even taste like a tomato, delicious! My husband had the Sunday special, which is prime rib; he said it was also amazing. Then we had a piece of chocolate cake. Very moist. We will keep this a special occasion place. They are moving to a new location, so we look forward to going there. There is one thing I was surprised about. We were asked if we wanted bread for the table. It was a breadbasket, very delicious, with a couple of different slices of bread and two different butt...
Dies ist ein Juwel in der Krone der Restaurants in Houston. Das Essen ist immer fest. Durchweg gut mit großer Auswahl. Ich gehe zu, wenn ich ein gutes Essen brauche. Immer Franks empfehlen. Es zeichnete sich immer wieder in einem bereits überfüllten Feld mit großartigem Essen aus. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam und achten auf die Details. Sie sind eine willkommene Begleitung zum großartigen Essen
The food was great and they accommodated my large party of 10 without a problem. The deviled eggs are a must try. We tried the chicken fried steak and buttermilk fried chicken and both were delicious and the portion size is large. More than enough forleftovers. Also if you try a dessert try the carrot cake that was some of the best I've had a restaurant.
Alles war großartig, bis auf die Tatsache, dass wir trotz der Tatsache, dass wir dem Restaurant mitgeteilt hatten, dass wir zwei Geburtstage feierten, von denen einer nicht erwähnt wurde, einer von beiden erwähnt wurde. Kein Kuchen, kein kostenloses Dessert, kein Nuss ... Das war eine echte Enttäuschung, da wir hier ziemlich Stammkunden sind

100% of the time, you will receive excellent food and service at Frank's. We had a very special Father's Day dinner there with our family which included a one year old. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, the waiters were so very kind and attentive, especially to the one year old and we loved every minute!
Our waitress was lovely, and the shrimp grits were possibly the best I’ve ever had, the depth of flavour in the roux was superb.
Excellent service and delicious food. Fried green tomatoes appetizer and seafood platter were superb.
Second to last night before closing, great crowd. Look forward to the next Chapter on Weslayan.
