Franks serves the best pizza in Washington, without question. I usually order pizza on Tuesdays when they have their special offer. I can get an extra-large pizza with two toppings for around $15. I typically opt for takeout, but I’ve been inside before and it’s consistently clean, with the tables always cleared. I often notice the same staff members working there, which is a positive indication in the restaurant business; it shows that it’s a great place to work. Service: Takeout.
After a long, frustrating day trying to sort out my new (and very old) house, I was exhausted, hot, and hungry. I called and decided to try one of their Italian hoagies, and it turned out to be one of the best I've had in years. I recently relocated from D.C., and I have to say this hoagie was just as good, if not better, than most of what I had there. The staff was friendly, and I will definitely be returning now that I live in the area.
The owner, Vinnie, is present every day that the restaurant is open, and he always makes an effort to greet everyone, especially the regulars. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the waitstaff is fantastic. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. It's a wonderful family restaurant, and it also makes for a great spot for a date night.
I ordered an extra large supreme pizza a medium pepperoni pizza. The supreme pizza was the worst I have ever eat. It had to many peppers onions w/ very little meat. The peppers onions were under the cheese not cooked properly. I was so disappointed. The food here is fantastic! In my opinion, the pizza is the best in town. I ordered takeout for dinner, and the price per person was between $30 and $50. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service also gets a 5, and the atmosphere is a solid 5 as well. I highly recommend the Italian Sub, Salad, Steak, Chef Salad, and Pepperoni Pizza.
I had my first dining experience at Frank's, and it was fantastic! I enjoyed a delicious meal, and our server was incredibly attentive. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $10–20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the ravioli and the salad!
