Every time we order for delivery, there's always something missing from our order! It’s particularly common for them to forget the soda—it's almost become a running joke. Today, however, was even worse. I ordered two pies and two sodas. The driver arrived quickly and, to my surprise, he actually had the sodas this time! But then I noticed he only had a brown bag of food and no pies! When I pointed out that I had ordered two pies, he insisted that I hadn’t! I couldn’t believe it! He went back to his car, leaving me with the food bag, and shouted that he would return. Now I’m still waiting for him to come back while I have someone else’s dinner sitting on my counter! You really can't make this...
I've tried several pizza spots in the area, but Frank's in Manville is still terrific. It's not the best ambiance around and that doesn't matter. The taste of the sauce is not too sweet and the pizza is made just right every time. My family has been going there for over 10 yrs. This is the second time I've ordered over the phone and, upon arrival, they've had none of the items I requested. Why allow customers to order food that isn’t available? It forces you to scramble for alternatives and wait for changes to be made. The first time this happened, they gave my pizza to someone else and refused to make another one. That's it for me; I'm done. I’ll gladly drive further for better service. I work too hard for my money to tolerate poor customer service.
The restaurant was very accommodating for our bridal shower event and allowed us to use their space. We catered the food, which was fantastic—penne pasta with chicken, salad, and fresh bread; everything was delicious. The service was exceptional; with our group of twelve, the staff was always attentive to our needs. One of the owners, I believe named Willie, made it easy for us to have a wonderful time. I had a fantastic experience at a pizza place in Manville, New Jersey. The pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced. I dined in for lunch and found that the cost per person was between $1 and $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all earned a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying a slice of pizza!
