Frank's Pizzeria - Tisch reservieren

Back to the future! Hubby and I were born/raised in Wyandotte. Both of us had fond memories of Franks. Live in FL now. In MI to visit family. Decided to get pizza at Frank 's for nostalgia if nothing else and then walk around downtown. Got their deep dish. OMG!! We are devoted Buddy 's pizza fans and order Jet 's in FL as they are closest. Frank 's beat both of them! Hands down best deep dish we 've had. Not quite as deep as Buddy 's, but crispy edges and light, tender dough with excellent quality toppings. And the sauce on top...to die for! I could have eaten it by the spoonful or put it on pasta. Antipasto salad also great. So much fun for us reminiscing with another patron who is friends...

We had a Cesar salad and a pizza, and both were tasty. The pizza had very fresh tasting ingredients, the crust was good, and it was nicely cooked. The sauce needed a bit more of something, like some salt and oregano. Regardless, good service and love the new retro interior. Would come back for another meal.

Super cute inside. Nice music. All of the workers are really young and were kind of messing around and not doing much. But the pizza was really good. Our waitress was nice and the food came out in a decent amount of time. Pricing was eh. I would probably come back to try something else.

My first introduction to detroit style pizza came from this place, cozy in a stand with pleasant service. Tasting!
