Freighters Eatery Taproom

Great restaurant, was very hospitable and felt cozy, was also clean and neat. We were well takin care of even with them being shorthanded in the kitchen. Has a really nice view if you sit towards the back you can see outside better and take it in. Good beer selection on tap not the biggest selection but quality over quantity I suppose. Definitely get the fish tacos they were delicious. The mesa chicken wrap was also great with a blackened seasoning on the chicken that had a lot of flavor and a lil spice.

We celebrated our anniversary and wanted to see the convention center so that we ate at Freighters. It was very relaxing to sit and watch how the water and the boats go through the windows on the water. There was an unexpected delay in our meal so that she gave us the dessert for free. Thank you for such a wonderful celebrity meal.

Spent the weekend in Port Huron for work. Had never been to Freighters and decided to finally go and order some dinner. Glad I did as it was absolutely a great experience. The view, the service, the atmosphere, the delicious food and the will definitely return soon. Hailey, our server, was absolutely the best!!

Great service and great view! I love Mac Cheese and have tried many types of them. Their loaded Mac Cheese was unconventional with the multiple white cheese, chicken, asparagus, peas, cherry tomatoes, etc. But it was the best unconventional Mac Cheese I have ever had. Absolutely Delicious!!!
