We came in shortly after they opened so the odor of cleaning materials was still in the air by the entrance. So that's a good sign! They bring the food to you so that's nice for fast food. The food was good, very tasty. I got the two taco plate, chicken, with beans rice. If there is anything to fault it's that the meat was juicy and they didn't drain it well. By the time you get to the second half of your second taco, both tortillas are about to split in half. No big deal, it would be nice if they drained them a bit before putting them on the plate. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good place for a casual, reasonable Mexican lunch. I recently found myself in Tustin and needed a quick lunch. Fresca's was close and convenient so that's where I went. When I arrived at 11:30am the lunch rush wasn't yet in full effect so I was pretty much the only person there. I had been here many years ago and remembered it being good so when I had a hankering for nachos, I dropped in. I was greeted with a smile and after placing the order was addressed by name. That's a nice touch. I ordered the carnitas nachos. I felt like it was taking a little long to make, especially as there were few customers. One of the staff came by and asked what I had ordered. This place is heavily seasoned with indifference. I ordered a tostada, noting that its price had increased quite a bit. While waiting for it, I went by the salsa bar and got my normal mix of mild salsa and pico de gallo. The tostada, upon arrival, looked okay. The meat was dry and lacking flavor. The beans were unseasoned, watery, and could have used more cooking time. Black beans should not be al dente. I had gas after eating them, which I hadn't had with previous tostadas. The shell was slightly stale, and made soggy from sitting under the watery beans. The salsas were bland, with the pico containing more raw onion than anything else. Definitely not worth any more visits.

Now, let's talk about the salsas—they were perfect! They offer a great variety to choose from, and both the chunky green and red salsas paired wonderfully with the tacos. Overall, Frescas serves excellent Mexican food that is light and not greasy at all. The chicken is fantastic—definitely my favorite! I will definitely be coming back here often. Don't miss out on Frescas; you should definitely give it a try!
We've been coming for years! Always get the chicken fajitas!!! Great quality meat plenty of it, plus the grilled veges, black beans, rice tortillas..... free chips/salsa bar while you wait! .....hot, fresh, good quality... for under $9?! Now they have daily specials on various items....you could probably eat even cheaper than $9....but I'm hooked on the fajitas. :
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly; the cashier greeted us as newcomers and went over the specials. On Sundays, they offer $5 chimichangas, where you can choose any burrito and they'll fry it for you. It was delicious! It also came with a side salad. I definitely plan to return!
Just yesterday I enjoyed a delicious combo. They were carnitas. it was around $8.00 with a drink that I could refill! it was absolutely delicious and filling. I love that they have a salsas Stand so I can pick all the different salsas from medium to hot. They serve beer too! Extra plus. The place was clean and friendly service! I'm excited to go back!

The food here is typical of fast food Mexican cuisine—very ordinary and overpriced for what you receive. The service was satisfactory, the restaurant was clean, and they have a nice salsa bar. However, I wasn't impressed with the chicken or steak, and the rice and beans lacked flavor. Overall, I don't think it's worth a return visit.
