Went there on a whim ordered the love boat with my boyfriend. The staff were super friendly, I never had to ask for a refill of my drink, the waitress came around 4-5 times to check up on our empty dishes, our drinks, and to ask if we were enjoying our food. The boat had a decent variety, my absolute favourites being the salmon and octopus sashimi, but honestly, everything was excellent. The rolls were well proportioned with a ton of filling and not overwhelmed with rice like a lot of other places tend to do. We barely waited at all for our food and got our bill as soon as I asked. There are plenty of choices available at this restaurant, including combos, boxes, boats, and special 'tang' dishes to satisfy everyone. The space is limited, but the service is top-notch and quick. I was able to order, eat, and leave within 30 minutes. Great value with most lunch options costing less than $10.
I really enjoy the food at this restaurant. The tempura is particularly good, and it seems like they use fresh oil, which I can tell because I used to work in a restaurant. The service is fantastic and I feel like I am getting authentic Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance.
Awesome service. Food is fresh and creative. It's not a fancy space but the friendly staff and good food make up for it every time. Great neighbourhood eatery!
