Staying in town for one night, I was really looking for a good healthy option food wise. So happy to find this place. I got the kale salad, some ginger kombucha, and these amazing power balls. The only reason I didn 't give it 5 stars was I could have used just a little more customer service. The girl at the counter was nice, but not overly helpful. When she handed me a red beet juice, it was overflowing on the lid. Not wanting to stain my clothes, I got a napkin. She stood and watched me clean it up without offering to help, other than saying, Oh you can leave that. (Meaning the juice on the counter top). It took me a while to write this review. I kept coming back to Freshini trying to master the menu and give them a fair review. I love their bowls, soups and chilli. The bowls are perfectly seasoned with wholesome and fresh ingredients. Perfect for when you want to eat healthy and feel great afterwards. The soups and chilli are spot on with the chilli quite spicy. The salads were disappointing. I think they are a bit too hard to eat (that's the best way I can describe it). I also kept a star off because the atmosphere is a little intimidating. The menu is a bit complicated and requires some study. All in all I'm very glad I kept coming back. I tried Freshii for the first time today and it was amazing! I built my own salad and it was delicious! The atmosphere in the dining area is also beautiful, it is very sweet in there. I will say that it is much more expensive than most comparable places, but its location is super convenient when you work in downtown (I came to my lunch break and was in and out in less than 5 minutes wow). My salad ended with $18 (I don't try to blame the workers or anything for the prices. I just wanted to give an example of what you could pay. It was delicious! I'd definitely eat back here and bring friends.

At last, it was for the first time able to try Freshii, and it honestly did not live on the hype. I ordered a Teriyaki Twist bowl? subbed and add to the brown rice for Quinoa. I was happy with the size of the bowl, but the food was pretty bland. Pros: The woman who took my order and the rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful! Many to choose and I had a lot of questions about the menu that they could answer quickly. Cons: Too expensive. Not very tasteful.
It was my first time here. I love all the great healthy, gluten-free options they give you a list for the sauces, but vegan vegetarian is also an option. I went for a bowl, but the only thing that kind of bothered me when I ordered a bowl that I expected a warm dish. My rice was warm, but my broccoli was freezing. I enjoyed it warmed a bit more to take the cold. It had a good taste. I want to give him another shot of something else.
freshii had early good music, but suddenly they changed it into bad corporate pop remixes and my friends and I don't enjoy eating there because of the new bad music.

Keeping Healthy? Great place to eat minus the guilt. Great food and great prices with a great location in Grand Rapids.
Clean atmosphere. Very good, healthy foods. Cashier could smile and greet customers though.
