I rarely leave reviews, but I couldn't resist this time. This charming restaurant is fantastic - do yourself a favor and stop by to try their delicious dishes. The staff is friendly and the food is mouthwatering! My family, including my 3-year-old, had a great time. I ordered the steak burger, fish and chips, and onion rings, then added some pepper, salt, and ketchup - it was amazing. I've been to many fish and chips restaurants, but this one is the best by far. I highly recommend it, and just looking at the photos has me craving it again!
Yes, the restaurant is now under new ownership and the prices have increased slightly. However, the food and coffee are still the best in the area for diner food. I don't mind paying a bit more for something I enjoy, just like I would when shopping for clothes. The staff is still friendly and welcoming. I believe that if longtime patrons give the new owners a chance, they will feel right at home in no time. Transitioning an established business, especially in the restaurant industry, is never as simple as "turn-key, let's go".
We decided to try breakfast. I can not recommend it. The Greek omelette was overcooked and very dry. If you like your home fries fried with a little butter and onion don’t get these. Cooked in oil, not even a bit of salt and pepper. Three pieces of bread dipped in egg (French toast) and fried for 10.99. That’s $3.66 a slice. Not even a bit of garnish. While the taste was fine it wasn’t spectacular. We won’t be going back for breakfast.
