I am not sure why Friendly's is even still open. The place looks dilapidated, and the food is subpar. Went here on valentines day and the experience was horrible. Very crowded seating arrangements felt like we were all sitting on top of each other, packed like sardines. The food I ordered did not taste bad, however it wasn't measured properly, therefore it look like the dish was full of Chinese noodles versus rice. The only reason I did not ask for a refund was the fact it taste better than it looked. The waitress was so busy her customer service wasn't the best. order 4 frienzies (hidden soft serve with sweetness) to be picked up. the total number was an excess of $34! seriously? I thought the tassen would be big for $9 a cup, but they were small, maybe like 8oz. and to round it off, there were hardly sweets mixed with them. after the first couple bites on the top nothing else than soft serve ice cream. in the next night I went to heritages and bought a gallon egg and a few bags of different sweetnesses, went to home and mixed my own. I had enough for at least 10-12 big 16 oz. and it cost me only $25. terrible how much they demand for it. they go to sonic and get a big explosion for only $6, its huge 32oz. and loaded with sweets.
not satisfied. server were very rude and so was hostess. server with blond hair and braid was the most rude and unconsidered waitress I've ever met. ignorant as always and without respect. everything they do is stand in the kitchen and talk badly about the customers. floor and table were dirty and everything was so dirty and dusty. I am a server and would never treat my customers like that. very disappointed
I came to this restaurant expecting to enjoy a simple egg dish, but upon arrival, there was a strong smell coming from the crowded restaurant. Once I received my order, the kitchen started to smell of burning food, which only got worse. It was quite overwhelming, to say the least. I didn’t even know Friendly’s was still open! To my pleasant surprise it was when I was over in Woodbury NJ with my two youngsters. The service was extremely fast and helpful. Our waiter was always there to help and had a cheerful smile throughout the experience. I love this Friendly’s and the amazing people who work there.
I had a great time at this restaurant, and I appreciate Friendly's efforts to keep their menu appealing to diners of all ages. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the cheese skirt burger, and the stuffed tots were delicious as well. However, I do think they could use a bit more sour cream on them.
The service is poor. My mom, sister, and I went out to eat yesterday, and the waiter we had did not bring us what we ordered. He forgot to give us napkins and utensils. Additionally, my mom ordered soup and he did not even provide a spoon or cracker. I had to ask another waiter to bring them to us.
We spotted Friendly's and decided to stop in! Despite the restaurant being very busy, the waitstaff was very nice. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. I haven't had Friendly's Ice-cream in about 3-4 year's. The service here was exceptional and the staff was very pleasant. The Ice-cream is still great with fresh fruit toppings. Won't wait this long again for another treat. Try this place out.
