I hate to give such a bad review, but we had a rather disappointing experience last night. I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years. The catfish is excellent, and it was again last night. The problem is that we had to wait over an hour to eat, after ordering. Furthermore, the people running this place have no clue how to handle a situation like this. This place would be much better with good management.
I have not eaten here in a long time, probably since before COVID. The food was excellent, the staff was attentive and friendly. The fried shrimp and oysters tasted crispy and savory. As always, the catfish is fantastic! I'm definitely going back more often!
My Grandmother 's 108th BIRTHDAY Lillie Mae Word dinner was hosted here. The service was exceptional and the staff were amazing. Thank you Friendship House for an unforgettable experience!
