When it came time to choose a caterer for our 80-person wedding reception, we knew that From the Boot had to be included. Working with Bri to schedule everything was a breeze. The communication was always efficient, professional, and timely. They provided the perfect amount of food, delivered it to our venue (even carrying it up a flight of stairs), and set everything up for us. The food stayed hot and delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The catering menu offered all of our favorite dishes, as well as some new ones with a special twist. We went with meatballs, penne vodka, pasta primavera, chicken Florentine, potatoes, and, of course, the garlic rolls, which disappea...
Thank you for the delicious, homemade Italian dishes for the surprise 50. Birthday party last night. Our friends and family couldn't get enough about how great the food is. The new private room was perfect for our 40 party, with space to save, and the service was also stellar. We can't thank you enough to make the party wonderful. I would highly recommend From the Boot in Lafayette Hill for lunch, dinner and a private party. Well done!
I ordered the Gnocchi vodka and asked her to add shrimp. I am an Italian, and these cuddly gnocchi were by far the best I had outside Italy! My sister ordered the fresh Bucatini with crabs and this dish was also to die. The teenagers had pizza and all were in heaven. I wish I was a normal one!
Tasty Italian Menu at a Reasonable Price. Pizza of course and many entrees. The restaurant is small, so I recommend that you arrive before 6 pm on weekends. Bring your own wine and beer. This is my first time writing a review, but I have to say that this restaurant deserves the lowest rating possible. I would give it zero stars if I could, but if negative stars were an option, that's what I would choose.
I attended a birthday party at this restaurant. The food was below average, especially the chicken marsala. If that's their usual standard, they should call me - I can show them how to make it better.
The best sauce (Grotte) I've ever eaten! I would have filled a glass and drank!!!! Amazing! It was very special. Praise about pasta. Soooo good. Never had a bad meal on the boat!!
