This japanese restaurant is located in the heart of Metz. Perfect for a cosy little night out. The inside was already familiar because every sushi/japanese restaurant I have been to in France looks like this. And the menu is more or less the same too- nice pictures of food and menus comes with salad , soup and rice. But honestly, I have never been disappointed in such a place and so I was eager to see if at least the sushi is different. It was not, but it was still really good. The soup was maybe too poorly filled with tofu, and the salad might have been a little too soggy but in general it was good food and fresh fish. Only negative thing was the "brouchette" which is a spit. I had beef and...
I was actually looking for another japanese restaurant but I found the bussiness closed, so I turned back for 100m. The first impression: very crowded, lots of families with children and, above all, most of them were locals. The stuff was very friendly, my order was ready in less than 10 minutes (and...boy! the chef was busy as hell!) and the food was good, the seafood fresh, everything as I was expecting. That was last night. Tonight I'll be there 4 sure! Go for it! The locals I mentioned were quite familiar with the staff, which means they're going there frequently. Other japanese places were far less crowded, not to say...quite empty.
Out of simplicity can come excellence, and the food at FUKUSHIMA is a case in point. The fish was top quality, great variety. Fun to watch the master's knife work. The waitress was very friendly attentive and always making sure that everything was good. I choice the menu SP2. All the fish was very fresh, rice was perfectly good, and the sushi was almost perfectly made. For anyone who likes sushi, FUKUSHIMA is a must.
Sushi and bbq combine,fish is fresh and with sauce teste very delicious. I can choose a wide variety of sushi ,and i teste mamy kinds of sushis ,soup also deliciois.Chef is kind and have super skill.Servers are nice satisfy your different needs.If you come to metz you cant miss FUKUSHIMA. I recommend strongly.If you miss you will regret it.

The fish was super fresh, and they have great variety.From sushi to bbq, all dishes are really tasty. I just cannot stop eating. The chef's knife work is an art. The waitress are nice and friendly. I have tried almost every japanese restaurant in Metz, I recommand you, who likes sushi, bbq, FUKUSHIMA is the only best place to go!
Travelling all over the world i visit a lot of japanese restaurants, Fukushima is one of the better places to go to. Friendly staff, high quality food against very reasonable pricing If you are in Metz, visit Fukushima
The food was great. I ordered a sashimi plate and skewered beef, which was really good. The service was good, they were nice and friendly. The facilities were nice and well kept. The prices were reasonable as well.
So good taste, specially for Udon with sauce spicy and SUSHI which tastes so fresh! The boss couple are very nice, I feel so happy to take diner time in here~
